Big bluefish have infiltrated our waters off the South side of the Island. They are hungry and will eat anything. The striped bass fishing has been excellent, specifically off the East end rips. Although we are a little behind on the reports, we are happy to say that the fishing continues to be spectacular, and will surely shape up to be one of the best seasons in quite some time.

Bass continue to fish well in the harbor and are being caught around first and second point. The standard issue lures, i.e., sluggo, bombers, Hogey's, etc have been working well.

We have heard reports of blues all over the South Shore and in Dionis.

Don't worry too much about tides; just go out and fish!
